I deleted my Yuletide signup at the last minute... I came up with enough fandoms I was excited to request and offer, but just barely, and work's been rough and I'm more excited about Festivids, so... here I am. Someone else is requesting An Emmy for Megan, so yay, the nomination wasn't a total waste!


Yesterday I had brainwane and thirdblindmouse over for a vidding day. It was really fun. I worked a bit on The Sequel and a lot on Festivids, and it's always nice to do creative stuff with other people even when you're not working on the same creative stuff. (It was also a good excuse to clean my living space up... the more I have people over at my apartment, the less entropy has a chance to destroy it)

brainwane made a quick vid about '80s car commercials: Created by Man... I haven't watched the final version yet, but the draft I saw was great fun.

Sorry to hear work's been rough! I hope Festivids is great. I saw the Emmy for Megan requests go down from 2 to 1 and wondered if all was OK - but of course there are only so many hours in a day.

it's always nice to do creative stuff with other people even when you're not working on the same creative stuff - agreed. While very much not doing NaNoWriMo, I might break up my Yuletide writing meet-in patterns by going to a NaNo library event later this month - one of the librarians is a friend and she's been excited about setting up the area, providing snacks, etc. It's an hour away by train, but maybe I can canon review on the train.

Oof, that's a long way to go for a write-in, but I suppose when I was actively doing NaNo I was driving as much as 45 minutes to a write-in sometimes. I hope you have fun!
