Happy Chanukah!

(Work gave us a box of candy as a holiday present. This year it actually wasn't treif!!!! Which means I don't have to go to Jon at New Year's and say, "Here, take this treif candy off my hands! I'm sure he's disappointed.")

Wow, where the hell do they find treif candy? Did they get some of that special gourmet chocolate with bacon in it or something?

Not really that hard. Anything with marshmallows is treif, too.

Will you be at Eve's for New Year's? I will be!

I haven't totally decided yet, but quite likely no. I've been weighing the ten hours (five there, five back) in a car against the awesomeness of the people I'd be seeing, and I'm just feeling too worn down to want to do all that traveling. Some other friends have invited me to a New Year's party in New York and it just seems so much less exhausting to me than a giant reunion in Virginia.

But I really need to get down to Maryland to see people soon, so hopefully I'll get on that.
