Date: 2023-08-02 02:41 am (UTC)Seeing the clips around minute 2, and then also the funeral clips, I must go slightly off-piste and say that I think you would really get something out of Yenta Mash's On the Landing, and specifically “Resting Place." It was translated and released in English just a few years ago and is well worth the read in its entirety; that particular story has a lot to say about women, ritual, and funerary obligations.
