seekingferretI was very fortunate when bironic held a charity drawing this spring, to win one of her vid slots. I threw a pile of ideas at her and eventually we narrowed it down to a thoroughly ridiculous idea that I was very excited about: A vid about the band Haim walking.
She just posted the vid now, it's so much fun, and the motion is brilliant. And Jews most definitely dance in this vid! (which is also to a song by a different Jewish artist, Yael Naim)
[Not to dampen the mood, but I should also note that my donation to enter the drawing was to the International Rescue Committee.bironic held the drawing right near the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and I had at the same time given donations to a number of other organizations helping refugees both in Ukraine and around the world. I feel like it's important to remember, as it fades from the headlines, that there are still huge numbers of Ukrainian refugees as well as refugees from other conflicts around the world, and we the people of the world are not doing nearly enough to help them find stability and safety.]
