Had some excitement today at work! We use a tool we call a J Bar for helping us move heavy objects. It looks like this: https://www.grainger.com/product/429X88 Basically a long wooden pole with a hook at the bottom that pivots on a wheel.

Well, it was propped up against some boxes I was moving and I didn't realize how much I'd pushed and it got unproppped and fell over and the top of it smashed me in the head. I got a nice cut above my eyebrow, went to the ER and got two stitches and a tetanus shot! I'm doing fine now, thankfully.

I had one for most of my childhood, from an accident on a playground when I was three, but it faded a while back so I guess I needed a new eyebrow scar. But sadly the doctor said she thought it would heal pretty well.

Well, boo. Although I suppose you could take the stitches out yourself right now, and improve your odds of it scarring? Food for thought!

I got mine from a can of Spam when I was a baby. When I was in junior high, I painted it white for extra drama. After all, it was my best feature...

My goodness, that's more excitement than I ever want from work. And I've been in the office for two major earthquakes, a flood that turned the power off in all of downtown, and multiple protests that had the building o lockdown.
