A friend of a friend is running a program called Film Shtiebel to create conversations and social experiences around framing pop culture through a Jewish lens. It's a series of Zoom calls where you watch the movie ahead of time and then discuss the film on Zoom in the context of Jewish texts, it's pluralist and open to all Jewish backgrounds.

The final program of their pilot season is tomorrow night at 8 Eastern, discussing Kissing Jessica Stein. I was not a huge fan of this movie, but Jews do dance in it, the soundtrack is terrific, and Tovah Feldshuh is predictably brilliant.
