Jan. 6th, 2021 10:29 pmIt's kinda hard, tonight, to say that we shouldn't have a Worldcon in Jeddah but we should have one in Washington DC.
If I were ever a Republican, it was because of my natural conservatism, my preference for slow deliberation and resolving conflict or injustice through the workings of the political process over resolution through violence and the mob. The Republican Party today is not in that sense a conservative party and I am not a Republican.
