I've done two nights of the Finnegans Wake thing. Nobody showed up for page one, so they all missed me pronouncing bababadalgharaghtakamminarronnkonnbronntonnerronntuonnthunntrovarrhounawnskawntoohoohoordenenthurnuk , which was a lot of fun. Alai showed up for page 2, and then a bunch of people popped in later while we were discussing what I'd read.

I find it fascinating the way Joyce's spelling seems to force me to read in a low-class Irish accent.

In any case, I'm having fun with this and will likely continue to do it even if it's an empty room. Next reading is 11:30 EST on Thursday.
