New plan: Every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at 11:30EST, I'll create a Google+ hangout, pop in for a few minutes to give people time to show up if they want to, and read aloud a page of Finnegans Wake.

I know this will be a slow way to make progress in the book, but since I never really expect to finish the Wake and since I have gotten so much pleasure out of sharing tiny bits of it with people, this seems like a promising idea.

Pop in any time you want. It won't matter if you haven't read page 3 when I get to page 4. Every page of the Wake has its own things to offer. It's just fun to read aloud.

If you don't have access to googleplus and want an invitation you can let me know.

I am finishing the Wake for the first time this weekend, I have the Skeleton Key and several other commentaries on the book and I have read the entire book aloud. I would love to join in, even read some with you aloud, we could take turns, and I wouldn't even mind covering an entire chapter in one day if you'd like.

G+ is not exactly the place for anonymity or pseudonymity. I don't really have a problem with you participating, but you're going to need to share some part of your identity with me and I'm going to need to decide how much of my identity I'm willing to share with you.
