Hey guys. I am VJing a vidshow at Vidukon this summer. The theme is vids that use diegetic source audio in some way. I have a full playlist already, but it maybe leans a little too far into fight-y vids with punching sounds on the beats, so would appreciate any recommendations that can help balance out the playlist. Any sort of diegetic source sound is viable- dialogue, sound effects, etc.

Also willing to consider including a premiere if anyone wants to make one and can be done by May 6th.

I don’t watch or make a TON of vids with diagetic sound (recent FV that was just Rebecca Ferguson saying “hi there” for two minutes notwithstanding) but HandClap works in lots of different sounds and is fun to watch! (Only some of the sounds are fighting)

Some fun non-fighty ones:
Black Sails - Ripe and Ruin by LiveLikeHeroes. Does the sound effects as punctuation thing, but mostly not fighty - it's swooshing water and stamping and things.

lucky13's Doctor Who vids, for example the eye of the beholder and Keep This Safe and Fall! Down! Dead. Lucky13 does this interesting thing with repetitive visuals and repetitive diegetic sound (dialog and effects) that I don't necessarily understand? But I find it interesting.

Lost Tomb - Apsara Calling by Mrseclipse555 Does the kind of fight scene style of sound effects but in a not-fight-scene way, more about like the process of entering lost tombs and etc?

echan's multivids Uses diegetic dialog from to build an argument.

Does this count? It's diegetic to one of the fandoms in the crossover.

This Community fanvid has some of my favorite diegetic sound work I've ever seen--no dialogue, but a ton of sound effects and Foley sounds perfectly timed to the percussion.

This is more on the fight sounds end of things, but there are other sound effects used as well, plus it's one of my all-time favorite vids: "Boss Bitch | Lan Wangji" by slowparade.
