seekingferretGuys, a warning is probably in order. I've seen friends' blogs explode with sudden enthusiasm for a new fandom and I've always appreciated when they gave a heads up first, to let me know that for the next however long I should keep only half an eye on their blog because that sort of enthusiasm is great, but if you don't share the fandom it's just a long stream of meaningless text.
So I want to warn you that for the next week or two that may be happening for me and Zadie Smith's The Autograph Man. You see, I wrote a two thousand word review of it and I still am nowhere near done talking about how amazing a book it is.
And I've already starting writing fic. Here's my first The Autograph Man ficlet:

Just... gah, this book is so amazing.
