Heh, I mean, I tagged this entry as "cheating" and it's very much a joke. I wasn't proposing actually plagiarizing long sections of other peoples' novels and calling it postmodernism.
Still, I think there are numerous cases where genuine and worthwhile new works of art have been achieved by doing exactly that, and I take issue with "fuck its artistic vision and fuck postmodernism". Causing you to look at a work of art in a new context with new eyes is a true artistic endeavor.
