Every Hero Needs an Origin Story
Apr. 2nd, 2012 08:47 amI guess I sort of threw up my hands and said that this story isn't going to get any better. I'm pleased with it, mostly, but part of me still feels like if I sat on it for another three months it would magically improve somehow. I don't know. I started it last summer, so it's about time I posted it. I saw that somebody on AO3 already beat me to the basic concept.
Title:Every Hero Needs an Origin Story
Fandoms: West Wing/Avengers (2012)
Author: seekingferret
Length: ~4000 words
Summary: Phil Coulson's an unlikely hero, but a hero nonetheless. Mike Casper is remembered as a hero, too. That's a lot of reputations for one man to try to uphold.
Or... the one in which Clark Gregg's West Wing character fakes his death to become Clark Gregg's Marvel movieverse character.
Or... the one in which I barely publicized it and got 70 hits overnight, because writing fic in a popular fandom is unlike writing fic in my usual fandoms in so many ways.
