Yeah, well I must admit (and feel certain I have admitted in the past) that much of the conversation in Orthodox Jewish communities takes place in the context of women who feel that in general Orthodoxy does supply them with meaning, and I know that there are women who have felt alienated from the community because when Orthodox Jewish women are talking about how much meaning they find in the gender roles that Orthodoxy assigns to them, they don't feel like there is space for them to talk about their personal discomfort. But because we're a community where talking about our problems with the text is a fundamental part of text study, I've seen a lot of really productive ways to address that problem, too. Jewish feminism has not triumphed (and I think a lot of people who in some fashion identify with Jewish feminism don't necessarily want it to triumph, it's very complicated), but it has a really important place in the conversation.
