And what I meant about delayed jokes is that Holly was been set up deliberately enough as a foil to Claire (i.e. Tucker's anger that she can't die but Claire can, her blondenesss, Hitler's obsession with her) that I would not be surprised if she is revealed to be in some fashion Claire reincarnated in the final episode. And I would feel a lot better about Claire being randomly fridged if that were the clearly planned destination.
