Yeah, there's plenty of fail to go around here. I wouldn't dare speak for them, but I imagine Muslims have plenty of their own objections to the piece. Creating a competition over who has the bloodier religion is a place that is never going to end well.

Over in the LJ version of this post schemingreader points out that it's not like there aren't violent passages in the New Testament, yet the report chose to reinforce the stereotype of the bloody Old Testament. Even though Judaism is never invoked in the report unless it's to lump it in with Christianity in ways that are demonstrably false.
